                                                 Xasvier Hernández i Creus who is commonly known as Xavi by the people in the world who is  the third captain of Barcelona and Spain and is the playmaker of both teams. He is known for his technical & passing skills but also for his defensive abilities. He often appears on score-sheet and is an excellent set-piece taker.





 He is a Spanish footballer who plays as a central mid fielder for La Liga club FC Barcelona, where he has spent his entire 13 years career.He lives with a join family in terrasa(Spain).He has a brother and a younger daughter named Alex and Adriana.


BACKGROUND:
                    Xavi joined Barcelona at age of 11 and has progressed quickly. He was one of Barcelona's most important players in their successful quest for Second Division promotion. Xavi joined the first team in 1998 and scored on his debut against Mallorca. Soon, he proved that he could play any position in midfield & was Barcelona and Spain's main player ever since.Xavi's importance was best expressed by Spain's coach Luis Aragones who decided to take him to World Cup 2006 even though he has just returned from a though injury which kept him out of action for 5 months. He said: "They say that it is a gamble to take Xavi with us, but I say it would be a crazy gamble to leave him at home". He was not wrong.Xavi was named the official Man of the match of the 2011 Champions League Final as he helped Barcelona defeat Manchester United to win their third Champions League title. Xavi has been capped 101 times for the Spanish national team, with whom he won UEFA Euro 2008 & the 2010 World Cup. Xavi was named player of the Tournament by UEFA at UEFA Euro 2008.Because, of his work done he is regarded as one of the best midfielder of the whole world.
